Created from luxurious organic botanicals, the Shea Butter & Chamomile dual-action sunscreen is power-packed with antioxidants and phytonutrients defending skin from photo ageing and dehydration. Our non-whitening zinc oxide (active ingredient) provides a natural filter of SPF 30 and UVA/UVB broad-spectrum protection.

DIRECTIONS

Massage a pea-sized amount in circular motions in the palm of your hand to warm up the product. Apply evenly to face and exposed neckline 30 minutes prior to sun exposure. Re-apply every 2 hours and after swimming or sweating. 

Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin ageing. To decrease these risks, regularly use sunscreen and practice other sun protection measures: wearing long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses.

INGREDIENT HIGHLIGHTS

JOJOBA OIL certified organic closely resembles sebum, a waxy substance produced by our skin glands, and therefore is an effective natural skin conditioner. Jojoba oil moisturises skin by creating a barrier to external elements and promotes the natural oil balance of your skin. Jojoba oil also has antibacterial properties and contains vitamins A and E, which contribute to anti-inflammatory and soothing qualities of the oil. B-complex vitamins, along with vitamin E, help jojoba oil to repair damaged skin after sun exposure by regenerating skin cells.

SHEA BUTTER certified organic has been called a “skin superfood” because it is naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E and F.  Shea butter also offers some natural UV protection and contains fatty acids and nutrients essential for skin health and collagen production. Aside from moisturising and soothing the skin, shea butter reduces inflammation due to the presence of a compound called lupeol cinnamate. Shea butter also works to reduce wrinkles, fine lines and scar tissue by repairing and regenerating skin cells.

BEESWAX certified organic is a great substance that protectively locks moisture into the skin while also allowing it to breath. It contains vitamin A, which supports cell turnover and reconstruction. At the same time, beeswax also acts as an anti-inflammatory agent that calms and soothes the skin and, like honey, has antibacterial properties that reduces the risks of contamination, both in the bottle and on the skin.

AVOCADO OIL certified organic contains a variety of fatty acids and vitamins including vitamin A, C & E that rejuvenate skin and reduce free radicals, resulting in healthier and more resilient skin. Vitamin A in particular helps to delay the effects of skin ageing, assists with cellular regeneration and promotes collagen and elastin levels. Avocado oil also balances the skin’s moisture levels so you don’t feel too dry or too oily.

COCONUT OIL certified organic contains high amounts of saturated fats and proteins, which smooth, moisturise and rejuvenate the skin, reducing moisture loss while also contributing to cellular health and tissue repair.  A series of fatty acids present in coconut oil have strong disinfectant and antimicrobial properties, protecting skin from microbial infections. Finally, coconut oil contains vitamin E, which is essential for healthy skin growth and repair, working to replenish cracked skin to smooth and soft skin. Vitamin E also prevents premature ageing and wrinkling of the skin due to its antioxidant properties.
